On more than 500 pages, the RODIN-WEB offers you information, images, links and book tips relating to the French sculptor and draftsman AUGUSTE RODIN (1840-1917).

Building a bridge between figurative and abstract art, Rodin's work - with its strong emotional expressiveness and courageous eroticism - continues to fascinate millions of art lovers world-wide.
RODIN-WEB informs you about the artist's moving life, his dramatic love affairs, his sculptures and drawings, and much more related issues:

	The LIFE section offers you a concise Rodin BIOGRAPHY. The essay on RODIN'S APPROACH TO ART introduces you to significant aspects of the artist's work and discusses his style as it developed over the years.
	The WORKS pages contain an illustrated description of selected key sculptures by Rodin, with references to further background literature.
	An extra section deals with the life and work of CAMILLE CLAUDEL, Rodin's pupil, assistant, model and lover, an outstanding artist in her own right, whose genius only recently has been rediscovered.
